Working From The Boat
The start of the sailing season may have been postponed by the Covid19 lockdown, but whilst we carry on following Government guidelines we've started adding custom Zoom backgrounds to our work calls so that we can at least imagine we're out on the water! Here are our favourites we wanted to share with you. Today I am working from the nav station of a Volvo65 :)
How to use:
(Note: this works best when used in combination with a green screen background, but a plain white wall will also work)
- Save your favourite boat image from the selection below (these images are all designated Free To Share and Use under Google Image Licence)
- To enable the Virtual Background feature for your own use:
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- Click My Meeting Settings, if you are an account administrator or Meeting Settings, if you are an account member.
- Navigate to the Virtual Background option on the Meeting tab and verify that the setting is enabled.
Notes:
- If the setting is disabled, click the Status toggle to enable it. If a verification dialog displays, choose Turn Onto verify the change.
- If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at either the Group or Account level, and you will need to contact your Zoom administrator.
Zoom Rooms
To enable virtual backgrounds for your Zoom Rooms:
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin.
- Navigate to the Zoom Roomspage and click Account Settings.
- Toggle the Virtual Background with Greenscreen
- Click Upload Imageto add more background choices to the default library.
