We recommend customers have their TeamO lifejacket professionally serviced every 12 months. A service will ensure safety checks are carried out on key elements of the lifejacket to ensure it will perform properly if required.
A service can be carried out by TeamO Marine at our ISO approved facility in Southampton or by any certified Service Centre. Please contact us if you are outside of the UK and we can advise the nearest Service Centre to your location.
For Service Checks undertaken at TeamO Marine we require the customer to send their lifejacket to us by courier or tracked delivery. Please ensure the lifejacket is sent dry and clean with your name, order number, return address and email stated inside the box.
A full service will then be carried out at TeamO Marine by our trained professionals. Checks carried out include:
- 24 hour inflation test and pressure check
- Firing Head and Capsule Checks
- CO2 Cylinder Inspection
- Light Check
- Wear and Tear Assessment
If any part of your lifejacket does not pass Service Checks we will contact you to advise replacement part prices. If all checks are passed a certificate is issued to you together with your lifejacket which is valid for 12 months from date of Service. Your lifejacket shall be returned to you by tracked courier service, which is included in the Service price. You should update your Service Record on the back of the User Manual and keep a copy of the Service Certificate somewhere safe.
